Its hard to believe that Boisduval got it so wrong. I wonder where the Fabricius' types are held. Could we ask someone there to take a look and tell us the answer?

@Tapirlord sometimes I can ID things, sometimes I think an olive is a grevillia.

The coordinates are wrong. Very strange: I thought they were correct first time. The location should be somewhere between the truck track and Clancy's track at Wildflower Patch 1, approximately here: Zornia dyctiocarpa var. dyctiocarpa (Zornia)
I can't edit manually because it is outside my moderator area. Barb, can you edit the location?

Hi @AmyKL thanks for the sighting. This is actually the other wallaby, the Red Necked Wallaby (Notamacropus rufogriseus), which is slightly less common in the area. The Swamp Wallaby (better named Black Wallaby) Wallabia bicolor, is darker overall with an all black tail, dark head, yellowish tinged fur on the chest. Have a look at the pictures here Other Shrubs or in the menu click Species; Mammals; Kangaroos.

Notamacropus rufogriseus
